In the year 1597, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, absolute ruler of Japan, outlaws Christianity. To set an example to all those who dare defy his orders, he condemns 26 Christians to be crucified in Nagasaki. But Hideyoshi does not count on the power of faith.
26 Martyrs serves as a companion film to All That Remains.

For the visual style, we wanted to create something that looked Japanese – drawing inspiration from Manga, but also felt very Western in its execution.
